Founder & President of The Avanti Woman and Avanti Insurance Solutions. Nairy is a healthcare professional with 20+ years industry experience, ranging from academia to non-profit, managed care, policy, and pharmaceuticals.
Nairy’s experience includes research on breast and pancreatic cancers, HIV/AIDS education, public health education, and program design and implementation. She published in various medical journals and healthcare magazines. In 2007, she co-founded her business in medical devices and health education, which she sold in 2011 to pursue a career in consulting, and her passion for humanitarian work.
She empowers individuals, especially women and children. This encouraged her to take a leap of faith establishing The Avanti Woman, Inc.; a platform to educate, empower, connect, and mentor women and beneficiaries in healthcare, finance, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy.
Nairy lives Stephan Grellet’s quote: “I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.”
In 2012, she completed an overseas humanitarian mission with the UN and RMF; afterward, she began a career in Medicare. She established Avanti Insurance Solutions, Inc., successfully serving communities.
Nairy earned undergraduate degrees in French Literature and Biological Sciences from UC Irvine; MA degree in Public Health from USC’s Keck School of Medicine; and completed graduate MS studies in physiological sciences at UCLA.
She holds Life & Health licenses with the California Department of Insurance and is a certified and licensed life coach and a certified health education specialist. She holds credentials and membership in the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals(NABIP), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), an associate at the Milken Institute, advisory board member at TEDx Yerevan and prior member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Public Health Association.
