A Warm Welcome
On a warm summer Saturday evening, a group of remarkable women gathered in the beautiful new home of Nairy Ghazourian’s, founder of The Avanti Woman. Nairy welcomed us into her home; a space filled with love, united by a shared journey of empowerment, connection, intention, and the sacred energy of cacao.
Food Of The Gods
Cacao, often referred to as the “food of the gods,” has been cherished for centuries by indigenous cultures for its ability to open the heart and deepen connections.
Unlike processed chocolate, ceremonial-grade cacao retains all its natural compounds, offering a wealth of benefits for both body and spirit.
Exploring Our True Desires
As we settled in, each participant explored their true desire-be it healing, success, or any heartfelt aspiration. The ceremony began with the soothing guidance of Sandy Yanez, who set the tone with beautiful music and thoughtful words.
She explained the power of cacao, inviting us to focus our intentions as we held our warm mugs of rich, ceremonial-grade cacao. The drink was more than just a treat; it was a conduit for connection and self-discovery, grounding us in the present moment.
As we savored the rich flavor of cacao, Sandy led us through breathwork to open our hearts and get our energy flowing. Our connection deepened as we shared in this sacred experience, not only to the cacao, but to each other.
Sandy Sings Melodies Inspired by Women Throughout History

With hearts open and spirits lifted, Sandy began her first set of songs—melodies inspired by nature and the strength of women throughout history.
Each song resonated deeply within each of us reminding us of our inner resilience within us all.
One particularly poignant moment came when she sang “Rose” by Ayla Schafer, inviting us to reflect on our ancestry and recognize our inner strength, just like a rose that blooms against all odds.
Throughout the evening, Sandy encouraged us to be fully present with the music, leaving distractions behind. After the first set, we took a 15–20-minute break to chat and connect, allowing laughter and shared stories to weave us closer together.
As we returned for the second portion of the ceremony, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and openness. The music flowed effortlessly, and tears mingled with smiles as we allowed ourselves to be vulnerable.
In this safe space, we celebrated our struggles and triumphs, while finding solace in shared experiences.
